– 【From counselor】 —————–

This is Ishihara in the consultation room.

Despite the cold in the morning and evening, the days are getting longer and the sign of spring is gradually getting stronger. How are you?

As we all know, various things have happened in connection with the new coronavirus(COVID-19), and our daily lives are undergoing major changes.

There is no better way than to follow an expert guide for disease prevention and treatment, and steadily take appropriate measures.

The disruption of everyday patterns has a small effect on us.

Get up at the usual time, get on the usual train, go to the university as usual. When it’s time, go home as usual or take a short trip, go home as usual, and go to bed at your usual time. Changing these creates a small amount of stress by trying to adapt to the changed things. The accumulation of this small stress is that tiredness accumulates as a result of working hard to adapt to the new environment.

In addition, this time there was a request for self-restraint of activities to prevent the spread of infection, many hoaxes flew there and it was difficult to grasp the facts, it was difficult to determine what action was the purpose . An environment in which such anxiety tends to spread tends to cause mental upset.

The most important thing is to spend time practicing preventive activities such as hand washing, gargle, cough etiquette, etc., living as usual as possible (with some restrictions, of course) and having fun time. Having such time creates a smile, and a smile improves immunity. Being able to take such habits not only with this virus but also with this opportunity will lead to increased resistance to stress-related diseases.

It’s unfortunate that March, which is a milestone for many people, has become such a situation, but we hope that we can steadily clear what we can do one by one and hope that everyday will return as soon as possible Hmm.

Last but not least, I would like to congratulate those who are graduated and those who are moving into a new environment. Please be active in good health.
